This Privacy Policy explains how ANG Technologies Ltd (“PromptAng”, “we”, “us”), a private limited company incorporated in England and Wales (company number 17294566), collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use PromptAng. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this Policy. We comply with the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and, where applicable, the EU GDPR.

  • To process payments and prevent fraudcontract and legitimate interests.
  • To improve and secure the Service and understand usage — legitimate interests.
  • To send service and transactional emailscontract; marketing emails only with your consent.
  • To comply with legal obligations (e.g. accounting, tax) — legal obligation.
  • Analytics and optional cookiesconsent.

4. Authentication & Account Security

We support email/password and Google sign-in. Passwords are stored using strong one-way hashing. We use session cookies and security controls to keep your Account secure. Please use a unique, strong password and keep your credentials confidential.

5. Cookies and Tracking

We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the Service, and (with your consent) functional and analytics cookies. For full details and how to manage your preferences, see our Cookie Policy.

6. Analytics

We use privacy-conscious analytics to understand how the Service is used (for example, page views and aggregate usage trends). Analytics data is used in aggregate to improve performance and content. Where required, analytics cookies are only set after you consent.

7. Payment Processing

Payments are handled by a trusted third-party payment provider. When you make a purchase, our payment provider processes your payment, issues the invoice and handles applicable taxes. The payment provider acts as an independent controller for the payment data it processes and applies its own privacy policy. We receive limited transaction information (such as confirmation, amount, and the last digits/brand of the card) but not your full card number.

8. Service Providers & Sub-processors

We share personal data with trusted providers only as needed to run the Service, including:

  • Payment provider — payments, billing and tax processing.
  • Cloud hosting and database providers — to host the Service and store data.
  • Email/communication providers — to send transactional and support emails.
  • Analytics providers — to measure and improve usage.

These providers are bound by contractual obligations to protect your data and process it only on our instructions (except where they act as independent controllers, such as our payment provider).

9. International Data Transfers

Where personal data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as UK International Data Transfer Agreements or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, together with additional measures where necessary.

10. Data Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above. Account and usage data are retained while your Account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards. Transaction and invoice records are retained for as long as required by tax and accounting law (typically six years in the UK). When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

11. Your Rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • access a copy of your personal data;
  • rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • erase your data (“right to be forgotten”) where applicable;
  • restrict or object to processing;
  • data portability;
  • withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.

To exercise any right, contact support@promptang.com. We will respond within the time limits required by law.

12. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, access controls and monitoring — to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by updating the “last updated” date or by email where appropriate.

15. Contact & Complaints

For privacy questions or requests, contact us at support@promptang.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe your data has been mishandled.
